We specialize in kiddos! Think of our doctors as pediatricians in dentistry. They've pursued two years of additional training after dental school to specialize in kids dentistry, and chose to serve the Bend community.
With this extra training, you can expect:
A full-scope of dental care for your child. We offer everything from fillings to general anesthesia, all under one roof.
A team with kid-friendly attitudes! Our doctors only treat children (and they love it!).
Personalized treatment plans to facilitate healthy smiles and overall wellness, and encourage positive oral health habits.
Monitoring jaw development and growth, as well as administering dental care, as your child becomes a young adult.
Our approach to kids dentistry reflects the care and concern we have for our own children.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit the dentist for the first time around their first birthday, or when their first tooth erupts (whichever comes first). If you bring your child to Timber Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics starting at this young age, they will be more comfortable with our doctors, our team, the practice, and the process of a dental appointment. We can begin developing a good relationship early on in their life. This also means we’ll be able to better track their oral development and keep an eye out for any oral issues before they develop into larger problems.
Here’s how we ensure every child feels comfortable and safe at the dentist!
Communication is imperative. Your child's doctor will get to know you and your family with one-on-one communication.
Did your child have a bad experience in the past? We drop down to their level and discuss those past experiences with them to gain trust.
We won’t lean that chair back right away. Instead, we let your child feel empowered to love the dentist and give them control in their dental care.
Every appointment is tailored to your child. From finding the perfect Netflix movie and using the same team every time, your child will love the dentist.
If these options aren’t enough to ease your child’s fears or anxiety, we offer in-office sedation and general anesthesia.
